On July 1, 2019 the “tornado” of the Italian Tax Authorities comes.
In fact, next July 1st will be a red-dot day in the Country. On the fiscal front, everything changes: here are the news for tax payers.
Three above all:
- the farewell to the paper documentation for disputes with the Tax Authorities
- the farewell to the receipt with the debut of the electronic bill
- the sending of the electronic invoice within 10 or 15 days of the operations.
This is a real “perfect storm” that will hit millions of Italian tax payers. On that day, there will be lines of payments, declarations and communications to the Revenue Agency. A series of operations that risk putting a strain on the nerves of those who must deal with the Tax Authorities.
But beware, for some there is hope.
At least 3.5 million VAT numbers await the postponement of the ISA parameters (the new report cards of the Tax Office which replace sector studies) to adapt the software of the traders to the new calculations. A Decree establishing a deferral to 22 July is in fact ready, but still needs to be formalized.
